She showed up 3 years ago on our property and cozied up to my kids and our mini Australian Shepherd. We took her in to be scanned for a microchip, and she had one! We were connected with the owner who told us he had re-homed her because he started working 48 hour shifts and could no longer take care of her. He then called the friend he had rehomed her to, only to learn that the friend had abandoned her on our property. He was angry, but told me he was now in a position to find her a new home again. We offered to keep her and try to find her a home. 3 years later, we still have not found a home for her. We have used facebook, the veterinarian,and the groomer as resources to try to find her a good home. We have had several inquiries, but nothing has stuck. She is the sweetest dog and deserves someone to love her. She is just way too big and sheds too much for our household. We never wanted a large dog who shed as bad as this, since we all have terrible allergies.
