Who weighs 50 lbs but is some how bringing a ton of love and fun? Benny! Estimated to be 1.5-2 years old, Benny may be the secret to happiness. Age and breed are offered with no guarantee given Benny is a rescue but we believe he may be a lab/pittie mix.We can tell you with confidence that he is a good time and even better company! Take a look at him in action then come back to read more about him! If we are going to start with just looks I want to highlight his smile. Its big, expressive and he shares it freely. That smile brings out his gorgeous buttery color and shiny coat. You will have a front row seat to all the details of Bennys good looks because he is an absolute lover and will be in your lap at the first sight of you sitting down looking available. His personality is friendly and joyful, with people, other dogs, and even our house-cat Tom. He isn’t pushy when playing with other dogs, in fact he is happy to just be in the company of other dogs and although he is young, he was well-behaved and respectful of each dog he met. That same respect was offered to the house cat when they were introduced, he easily took the hint that the cat was not interested in being friends and gave him space without repeatedly trying again. Benny has basic leash manners but will benefit from some polishing and practice once he is home. If you live in a walkable neighborhood he is going to be a regular on the block and may even be the first one who gets greeted by the neighbors. Thanks to his size and quiet demeanor, Benny has potential to be an apartment boy, but only if he polishes up the leash skills, you promise him walks and a few good toys to keep him company. If you have a yard, be prepared to watch him literally bounce around the yard. He gets an actual hippy hop bounce in his step when he is doing a happy run- it’s so good and just like everything he does- smile worthy! Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick up day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. The adoption fee is $800 and includes all vetting: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship!
